Your questions, answered

Reflexology is a complementary wellness practice that applies gentle pressure to specific areas of the feet, hands, or ears. It is intended to promote relaxation and overall well-being.
-
You’ll remain comfortably clothed while your practitioner works primarily on your feet, using pressure and massage techniques. Sessions are generally calm and relaxing.
-
Sessions typically range from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the service you choose.
-
No special preparation is required. It can be helpful to wear comfortable clothing and arrive a few minutes early to settle in.
-
Reflexology should not be painful. Some areas may feel more sensitive than others. Your practitioner will adjust the pressure according to your comfort level.
-
This varies from person to person. Some clients enjoy occasional sessions for relaxation, while others prefer regular appointments as part of their wellness routine.
-
Reflexology uses pressure and massage techniques, but it is different from a traditional full-body massage and focuses on specific areas of the feet, hands, or ears.
-
Pregnancy can require special considerations. Please let your practitioner know that you are pregnant when booking so they can discuss whether reflexology is appropriate for you.
-
Certain health conditions or circumstances may require you to postpone treatment or obtain medical advice first. If you have concerns about whether reflexology is appropriate for you, please speak with your healthcare professional and inform your practitioner before your appointment.
-
Reflexology can be beneficial for all age groups. Please contact us before booking to discuss suitability and consent requirements.
-
Comfortable clothing is recommended. Since most sessions focus on the feet, clothing that allows easy access to the lower legs is ideal. -
